The “Legong” dance is the quintessential Balinese dance in all its glory. A classical dance that springs from age-old temple dances performed to appease the gods, the “Legong” is the epitome of grace and beauty. It is characterised by highly stylised slow movements. Its delicacy is heightened by the fact that is performed by richly costumed young dancers (sometimes only four years old), many of whom retire at the tender age of 18.

Each village in Bali has its own traditional “Legong” performance that narrate stories that are characteristic of a particular dance troupe and area. Typically, the stories are slice-of-life episodes, such as the “Tenun” or “Weavers” Dance, and scenes from nature, such as the “Belibis”, or “dance of the wild geese”. The most popular and important “Legong” dance are those performed in praise of the Gods, such as Panyembrahma, and to welcome guests. The dances have also been used as a means of teaching through the ages.

The correct code of conduct before kings and the etiquette that required people to lead a graceful and cultivated life are imparted through this medium, as portrayed in the “Wiranata”, or the warrior dance, and the “Kebyar Duduk” dance. The “Legong” is the unsurpassed queen of all Balinese dances, bringing to mind the grace of the island and its beautiful people.[endtext]

Form in 2001, UNiXX's member went through a few changes but the leader of the band Sean P.Yung is the core of the band. Today, the band consists of Sean, vocal and guitar, Ed, guitar, Steven, bass, and Tatsu, drums. The result of 5 years of development, the new album from UNiXX went through change of members and even lost of master recording in the early years. UNiXX's first album Nasty Fantasy was released in 2004 to a tremendous critical acclaim and a build-up of a solid fan base. Based on the first album and their live performances, UNiXX quickly acquired a reputation as the darkest rock band in Hong Kong.

As the line up became stable, the second album is finally completed to everyone's satisfaction. In 7 Deadly Sins, the audience is shown a even darker and more explosive UNiXX that is like an angry man unleashed.
The lyrics show the band in a more critical view of the world around us. Musically, the band is like a cut-loose titan reminding us of The Smashing Pumpkins unrestrained, or The Cure with only the anger. The album progresses through emotional ups and downs in high energy alternative rock, while the title song "7 Deadly Sins" punctures the heavy mood of the songs with the most reflective tune in the album. The songs "Wasted" and "Perfect Betrayer" were previously issued nearly five years ago, but find a new breath in the new album. "Shut It", normally the band's opening song for a show, would certainly leave you screaming in agreement, in the most political song of the album. Notably, Alok(A Roller Control) remixed the track "Black Shadow", off the first album, with a disco punk kick to finish 7 Deadly Sins, the most exciting album of 2010, and it's only January.

The Taiwan idol Show Luo (Alan Luo) come back this new year with his new album “Luo Sheng Men”. Luo Sheng Men may be refer to Rashomon, a Japanese crime mystery film in 1950.

This new album is the stylish dance king’s seventh solo album, released about a year after last winter’s Trendy Man. The Serimpi-dance was therefore reserved exclusively for the daughters of the ruler. With a clear purity they embodied the dance.
In the Serimpi-dance a picture is painted of a world through dance movements and stuctures:
• The dance begins with balanced, static poses, symbolising a moment of rest.
• This serinity is disturbed by the constant movements and changing positions of the dancers, a situation comparable to the disharmony caused by the passions of the human world. In the dance this is sometimes represented by a struggle.
• The structure of the dance recovers, as humanity also comes to its senses.
These images are emphasized by the fact that the Serimpi is always danced by 4 similar dressed dancers, who dance in 2 couples.
The Serimpi-dances of the Keraton Surakarta Hadiningrat are characterized by e strong spritual connection with the goddess of the South Sea, Kanjeng Ratu Kidul. The royal family attributes its position to the personal protection from the goddess. The dances are a tribute to Kanjeng Ratu Kidul and the dancers open themselves spiritually to a confrontation with the 'Higher World'.

In one of the audiance halls of the Keraton Surakarta Hadiningrat, named Bangsal Semorokoto, the Serimpi Lagu Dhempel court dance was taught to Romanita Santoso by Raden Rårå Eko Kadarsih under the guidance of Gusti Raden Ayu Koes Moertiyah, daughter of the reigning sovereign Sri Padukå Susuhunan Paku Bhuwånå XII of Surakarta and chairman of the Yayasan Pawiyatan Kabudayaan Karaton Surakarta (Foundation Cultural Education Karaton Surakarta). It is the Keraton Surakarta Hadingrat's own shortened version of the original dance of approximately 60 minutes.
This Serimpi Lagu Dhempel is attributed to the sovereign Sri Padukå Susuhunan Paku Bhuwånå VIII (1858-1861).
It depicts an episode of the Ramayana, in which the sovereign Råmåwijåyå gives wise advice to his younger brother about the way to become a good king.

Kecak (pronounced [ˈketʃak], alternate spellings: Ketjak and Ketjack) a form of Balinese music drama, originated in the 1930s and is performed primarily by men. Also known as the Ramayana Monkey Chant, the piece, performed by a circle of 100 or more performers wearing checked cloth around their waists, percussively chanting "cak" and throwing up their arms, depicts a battle from the Ramayana where the monkey-like Vanara helped Prince Rama fight the evil King Ravana. However, Kecak has roots in sanghyang, a trance-inducing exorcism dance.[1]

Kecak was originally a trance ritual accompanied by male chorus. German painter and musician Walter Spies became deeply interested in the ritual while living in Bali in the 1930s and worked to recreate it into a drama, based on the Hindu Ramayana and including dance, intended to be presented to Western tourist audiences. This transformation is an example of what James Clifford describes as part of the "modern art-culture system"[2] in which, "the West or the central power adopts, transforms, and consumes non-Western or peripheral cultural elements, while making 'art' which was once embedded in the culture as a whole, into a separate entity."[3] Spies worked with Wayan Limbak and Limbak popularized the dance by traveling throughout the world with Balinese performance groups. These travels have helped to make the Kecak famous throughout the world.Performer, choreographer, and scholar I Wayan Dibia cites a contrasting theory that the Balinese where already developing the form when Spies arrived on the island.[4] For example, well-known dancer I Limbak had incorporated Baris movements into the cak leader role during the 1920s. "Spies liked this innovation," and it suggested that Limbak, "devise a spectacle based on the Ramayana," accompanied by cak chorus rather than gamelan, as would have been usual.
